The closure of the YACF (Young Audiences Content Fund) leaves the UK kids media sector in a difficult place.

Much thinking needs to be done to plan and fund a future where young people across the UK get to watch and share content that presents a strong domestic sensibility – a future that cultivates an interest in society rather than merely treating the audience as mini consumers.
