Formed in 2007, Three Stones Media represents both the creative and business interests of a group of companies.
As a producer and creative consultancy Three Stones has inspired, developed and managed some of the UK’s most remarkable, and most talked about, children’s television creations of the last decade; projects that are able to transcend beyond their original medium.
Away from the children’s genres we have produced dramatic work for the stage and have contributed vital development work and research to big budget feature film projects.
Producing, funding and controlling the rights to brands already enjoying onscreen success, the company also has a number of projects ready for production and ready to be exploited in various media. Combining a diverse array of talents, the company is at home working to develop feature film projects, digital apps, television, music, theatre and live events as well as in education.
Having developed the Rastamouse animated series from self-published book to multi-award-winning television series, Dr. Gregory Boardman, has recently produced three series of the ground-breaking live-action series, Apple Tree House, for rights owner Five Apples Limited. Apple Tree House is already enjoying substantial ratings success in the UK and around the globe.
Diversity is at the heart of what we do and extends way beyond what you can see and hear in our programming. Diversity is reflected in the company ownership and management. With a strong track record of encouraging, nurturing and training writing, directing and production talent from all backgrounds, Three Stones has been described as a ‘shining light’ leading the way on issues or diversity and inclusion.
It’s an exciting time for the company and we’re currently working with an amazing pool of creators on a variety of originations. We seek out stories from diverse new talents providing strong creative support, project and financial management to help projects launch onto television platforms, film and beyond.
Watch this space for some very exciting developments.
